Welcome from the Headteacher
Katie James
At Spark Vale Academy, we believe pupils learn best when they feel safe, understood, and valued. Many of our pupils have had a difficult experience of education. They may have felt overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood. Our job is to change that.
We build school around the pupil. We create calm routines and strong relationships, and we teach in ways that reduce barriers without reducing expectations. We take learning into the community because real world practice builds confidence that lasts.
We are proud to be a small school where pupils are known well. We work closely with families and professionals, and we plan carefully so pupils can rebuild attendance, confidence, and progress over time.
If you are considering Spark Vale Academy, we would love to talk with you. Please visit our Admissions page or get in touch to arrange a conversation.
